2008 Board of Directors
Russell Dilday resides in Porterville, CA
where he and his wife own and operate a horse training facility and
cattle ranch. Russell has been a finalist at all major events including
the Snaffle Bit Futurity. He currently holds the title of 2008 World’s
Greatest Horseman and has been Reserve Champion at the World’s Greatest
Horseman twice. He was the 2003 Magnificent 7 Champion. He won the
Fresno Pre-Futurity Limited Open in 2002. Russell holds an NRCHA judges
card and currently sits on the NRCHA Board of Directors. He is on the
World Show Committee, the Nominating Committee, and the Judges
Committee.
Tanna Dilday resides with her husband and two sons, Colt and Ace in Porterville, CA. She was instrumental in bringing the Pre Futurity to Fresno
in 2002 as a board member of the Valley Cow Horse Association. Tanna
shows as a non pro in reined cow horse events. She has won both the Magic Valley and Idaho Snaffle Bit Futurity Amateur titles, as well as local year-end championships. Tanna is a graduate of Fresno State, earning a Masters in Business Administration.
Ted Robinson
is the one and only rider to hold seven Snaffle bit Futurity
Championship titles in the 30 year history of the NRCHA. He won the
1999 and the 2001 World’s Greatest Horseman contest on the same horse,
Katie Starlight. Ted has served on the National Reined Cow Horse
Association as President, Vice President and Treasurer. He is willing
to do his share by putting on clinics across the country to benefit
affiliate groups. Ted resides n Oak View, CA where he trains horses. He
is a straight forward, genuine, and a true gentleman.
John Ward resides in Kingsburg, CA where he owns the Ward River Ranch breeding operation and trains in Tulare, CA
where he runs the Ward Ranch training facility. John is the son of
legendary trainer, Greg Ward. He has served on the NRCHA board of
directors for almost 20 years. John and his wife, Laurie, both show at
all reined cow horse events. He has won the Snaffle Bit Futurity, the
Johnny Quik Maturity, has numerous year-end champions and finalist. He
holds the 2007 title for the NSHA World’s Richest Stock Horse
Competition. He placed 3rd at the World’s Greatest Horseman in 2000. John has also won over $700,000 in cutting horse events.
